Making Friends And A Page for Let's Scrap

Some of you already know that all of my LSS's have closed and I don't really have a regular place to crop anymore. I've posted pictures of my scrap table here....so you know. I really don't have a place/space to crop! lol Well yesterday I went to a crop. My first in over a year? I took an hour to get there but was well worth the ride. Not only did I get to scrap for 12 uninterrupted hours but I got to meet (for the first time) an old friend. What's that you say? MEET an old friend? Yup that's what I said. My scrappy friend Rosey. We've been through thick and thin in the scrappy world for the last three or four years. The rise and fall of Scrapbooking and Crafting Friends..... Pages In Time and now the sweet day's of Bella Creations....we have participated in the same swaps and challenges...we chat on Facebook and all without ever actually meeting!! Well guess what? That all changed yesterday. I finally got to meet her and her awesome friends. She is bubbly, kind and funny...all the things I expected. Oh and she is lucky!! Girl won nearly every prize on the table!! Don't make me stab you was the joke of the day. LOL I can't wait to repeat the day!

Here is one of the pages I worked on yesterday. What better than a friendship page. This doll went everywhere with Kelsey last summer. I called it her mini me since it resembled her so much as an infant. In the photo Kelsey is trying to decide what her baby wanted to eat while on vacation. I'm sad to think that day's of playing with baby doll's are over. She was starting to get funny looks carrying that baby doll around anyway. Hard to believe she is only 9 in this photo.
I used one page of a Let's Scrap Sketch. I used Basic Grey all the way on this one. Even the dotted Bazzill  is from the matching Olivia Cardstock Pack. OK almost all Basic Grey. The K, the pom pom trim and pearls are not.

CHEERS TO FRIENDS~OLD AND NEW!

what a stunning page. your daughter is gorgeous. put a tiara on her and she's definitely got the PRINCESS look. what a beauty.

that "spikey thingy" for my cards... don't know what it's called but you can find it in the flowers section at MICHAELS. it's used in the bottom of pots to make silk arrangements. it's about $5.99. it's usually in a packet hanging on the wall where the wires for silk arrangements are. hope this helps. keep me posted on it.

hugs :)

That is so awesome to meet an online scrappy friend. =) I've meet a few people in person that I chatted with first online. They have become wonderful friends and great crop partners.
Your layout is great. love the papers. that is one BG line I didn't get very much of.
