I do Have a Husband

HeeeHeee I realized the other day....most of my blog, scrap, Internet friends must think that I don't have a husband! I barely ever talk about him OR scrap the poor man. So he does exist, of course once he checks this page out? He might ban me from ever scrapping him again! TeeHee.... there's something to be said about a man who can sport a butterfly and still look like a man! Love you honey.

October Afternoon Sketch Challenge

October Afternoon is having some Sketch Challenges going on over at their blog. My car happens to be in the shop and I'm sitting home alone. Poor me! NOT!! WooHoo!! I know I should be doing laundry or a dozen other things but you know what I ended up doing right!? I don't get many weekday opportunities to scrap soooo...I blew the dust off of County Fair and did some scrapping!! I do have to say, I have serious hoarding issues!! I bought this pack when it first came out and yes...I just opened it today. I guess I'm unleashing those duplicate pictures too. I scrapped these pictures already but they are my new favorite and I thought they went well with the paper. I wonder now why did I wait so long to use this paper? I love it. Oh well. Hope the new lines hit the store soon, can't wait to get my hands on them. And this time I won't let them sit around so long! LOL

Noel Mignon Valentine Scrap A Thon

It's been a long week and I'm feeling under the weather. I didn't get to participate in the crop over at Noel Mignon as much as would have liked. But who am I kidding? Is there ever enough scrap time?? I would love to quit my job, I could stay home and scrap the day away! OK back to the real world. This week I had work, swim practices, a swim meet and a killer cold!! I can't get a drop of air through my nose. Alka Seltzer cold makes me feel good though. So good, I thought today was Sunday and almost forgot it was Valentines Day. Not that Valentines day is mattering to me right now. My red stuffy nose is not making me feel very romantic!

I only managed to get two pages done but two is better than none, right? I started another but never finished it. I missed out on the last Noel Mignon kit so I used my Sweet Pea Scraps kit. I am loving Websters Pages and I got to use some Dream Street for the first time. I ended up doing two of Jana's challenges, the Red Hot Challenge and Jana's Love Letter. Jana's pages are amazing and for whoever said she never makes an ugly page? That is so true! Well it's back to the couch for me! Hope you have a happy!

Basic Grey's Gallery

WooHoo. Another page into the BG Gallery! I know to some of you that doesn't seem like much but to a girl like me who's not on a DT or anything like that....well getting that email from Basic Grey just really excites me!

Oh I also have other news. I tried out for DT over at Jenn Stevens My Creative Mess. I "met" Jen over at Sweet Pea Scraps (one of my most favorite kit clubs)I've been a fan of hers for awhile now. I love her work and she is one funny chick! I really like her. Ok, maybe I'm starting to sound like a stalker. LOL Anyway, I just really like her stuff. The sad news is, I didn't make the team. No poor me though, I got a spot as Guest Designer for the month of March! Woot Woot! When I saw that someone from Big Picture Scrapbooking made the team I felt lucky just to have made GDT. Let's face it. I'm a nobody in the scrap world, I'm genuinely happy with GDT! Wish me luck.

Scrap Challenges

Nothing like a good challenge to get my MoJo going. The girls over at Scrapbook Circle really came up with some nice challenges. No pressure and nothing insane to do. Although I have to say, Greta Adams put on an insane challenge over at Noel Mignon and I had a blast with it!! Man, that girl cracks me up! OK, I digress. Back to Scrapbook Circle. The challenges were creative but not too difficult. I was actually able to get three done yesterday! Woo HOO I even used some of my new Friendly Forest and killed two challenges with one page. For Golden Day's, I combined a sketch challenge from TSR with the sewing challenge over at Scrapbook Circle. The Sketch was by Susan K. It's the second time I used one of her sketches. I like her style. The All in page was a "Beaches" sketch challenge by Marcee. this was the most dificult page for me. I had a hard time leaving the left side blank. My favorite is the Faith page. That was for a use something old, something new challenge. I haven't been scrapping very long so no Magic Mesh for me. LOL Periphery and the photo were my old. The embellies are my new.
