Redoing Old Pages?

While attempting to clean my scraproom (see shameful mess post lol sadly it is messier now than it was but that will have to be saved for another post) I came across a few old layouts that I never photographed. Here is one of them. I'm not even sure how old this is! Two years, maybe three? I know it's my daughter HA HA I'm a genius huh and I knows it's Basic Grey and that's about it.
I love the picture. I thought about ripping it off and starting over. Something about the page doesn't say ME. I'm not exactly sure WHAT doesn't say ME but I look at this page and say hmmmmm? That could use some inked edges and I'm sure I could have done some punching and sewing on that somewhere and so on.....
Have any of you ever redone a page? I'm seriously thinking about redoing this one but I wonder?? If I do it once? Would I stop there or would I start ripping apart my albums and tweaking all of my pages? Would love to hear some thoughts on this.

I am going to say don't do it! I look at my old work and see how much better I am now. It's like a pride thing. I like how my work has evolved for the better and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
Look at it with pride, my friend, it is great work!

I also like to see how I have evolved...but, can't say that I won't do another layout using the same pic!

Since we moved (several months back) all my albums are still in a box. So I haven't seen any layouts I've done except the more recent ones. I did take apart an 8x8 layout. I had done it to see if I liked the size...I didn't. So I saved what I could, and put the pic out to redo. But that (I think) is the only one I've ever re-done so to speak. I have added a couple of things a time or two. I don't know if I'd never re-do a page. I'd have to say it depends on the pix. They might fit another layout perfectly. lol can you say wishy washy! lol

Don't do it! I never redo my pages and I never will. They are a memory from the time I created them and I want to keep them that way. I might not like the way they look now, but they still mean something to me. It's my work put into it. Also, it's nice to compare and be able to say that hey, I've gotten better! :)

I agree..don't rip it apart.
I like to go back on my older pages and see how I have progressed, different time, different outlook and new products and techniques.
If you want a re-do print the photo again and do a new page updated with your new talents sewing, misting, masking, inking, punches, distressing etc. Have fun then reveal to us your results...might be fun.

I know have the same feeling when I look at some of my old projects. I go 'I did that ?' It's wonderful how we evolve and change in this amazing hobby.
