Random Swim Post

It's hard to believe but my daughter has been with her "new" swim team for an entire year. I guess I have to stop calling it her NEW team now. LOL She has grown so much in the last year and I'm so proud of her.This past year she has qualified for Junior Olympics and the Eastern Zones Qualifier. In her local league championship she came in first place overall in the 50 Breast and 100 IM. She made improvements all around.

I thought I would do a page to honor her achievement's and with 4th of July right around the corner, why not some patriotic paper!

 Last summer when she first joined the "new" team. I love this photo, she looks her age for a change.

 4th of July party last year,we surprised Kelsey with a cake and the news that she made it to Summer Junior Olympics.

Dusk

I think this is the most pictures I have used on a single page layout in.....well in ever! Once again Cheri over at Let's Scrap came up with a great sketch! For The Birds

During the winter months we like to make bagel bird feeders. They are super fun and super easy. All you need are bagels, Crisco, bird seed and twine. Cut your bagels in half. Tie a piece of twine around your bagel for hanging. Spread a generous amount of Crisco on your bagel and then dip it into the seed. Hang them around the yard and the birds will take care of the rest!

                    I had alot of fun with this sketch. I used this weeks Let's Scrap sketch for this page.

New Let's Scrap Card Sketch

This weeks sketch from Let's Scrap is a card sketch and I adore it! I think it's one of those sketches that I will use over and over. 
I dug out some old Making Memories. I think I bought every drop of this line and uhhhh never used it. I took it out. I looked at it but never used it. Not sure why I feel the need to hoard scrap products but I do. The flowers are from Prima and yeah, I've had them awhile too. It felt good to use up some stash.

Button Challenge

Let's Scrap has a great group called Let's Scrap Our Stash. This week's challenge was to use buttons and lots of them! Twenty buttons and a die cut. I had no problem with the buttons but struggled with the die cut, I finally got one to work with my page. I also got another page done for my daughter's school album! Thanks for the challenge.
I am on a mission to use up some of my kit stash and used mostly Crate Paper School Spirit which came in a Scrapbook Circle Kit.

Go Jump In A Lake

These are some of my favorite Lake George photo's. Although Kelsey loves the water I thought for sure she would be afraid to jump off the dock. She certainly proved me wrong.
I used the left side of this week's sketch from Let's Scrap and some goodies from this month's Scrapbook Circle Kit, Garden Party.  Do you think Pink Paislee will mind that I re-worked this paper? It just needed a few extra swimmers.  lol

Let's Scrap New Sketch and A LETTER TO BLOGGER

Here is Let's Scrap's latest sketch. I actually did both sides!! My first two page layout in....well I don't even know how long it's been!

Dear Blogger,

I have been a very good and loyal blogger. I have cleaned out my cookies and my cache.  I have new friends that would like to follow me, please fix my follower gadget. It hasn't worked in weeks and I have no way of contacting you.

Your help center is of no help at all. When I research the problem? The answer to my question is other blogger's......asking the same question!
